A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING CONSUtER'S AGREE-
MENT AND APPLICATION FOR INSTALLATION OF
VIATER. n9Alt NO. 101 BETWEEN THE • CITY OF AZUSA
AND GENERAL BREWING=CORPORATION
AND AUTHORIZING THE `.,1AY.OR TO SIGN AND THE CITY
CLERK TO ATTEST SAME:
The City Council of the -City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:*
BE .IT RESOLVED that that certain Agreement and
Application for Installation of Water Main No. 101, dated
May 6,.1948, between the City of Azusa Water Department.and..
GENERAL BRELVING CORPORATION,
the original of which is on file with the City Clerk of the
City of Azusa..'be and the same is hereby approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Azusa be and he is hereby authroized to sign the said
contract for and on behalf•of the City and the City Clerk is
hereby.directed to attest the same. When so signed and
attested and signed by all parties hereto, a copy of said
contract is to be'delirered to said
GENERAL BREWING CORPORATION.
BE.IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Yayor.shall sign this
Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify
to the passage end adoption thereof.,

The undersigned hereby makes application in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No..an.......
for the installation of a water main or the extension of a water main from the nearest existing City water
main as determined by the Water Superintendent, to supply water to the property of the undersigned de-
scribed as follows:

and agrees to pay the total cost for the installation of said water main, including pipe, gate valves, fittings,
materials, appurtenances, labor, supervision, engineering, rental of City -owned equipment and tools, and
overhead expenses, necessary and required to complete the same iWc69>ld Wwith the plans and specifi-
cations of the Water Department, the estimated cost of which is $......V.�-W.....g-,eland which amount accom-
panies this application, however, it is agreed and understood that the undersigned shall pay the full amount
of the final costs of the completed work and will pay to the City the difference if the final costs exceed the
estimated costs within 30 days from the date a statement therefor is rendered by the City, and likewise the
City shall refund to the undersigned within 30 days the difference if the final costs are less than the esti-
mated costs.
Itis further agreed that when such water main and appurtenances have been completed it shall there-
after be the sole property of the City of Azusa and maintained and operated by it and at its own cost and
expense.
