HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2218RESOLUTION NO. 2218 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO CANCEL CERTAIN TAXES OF RECORD. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve a a follows: WHEREAS, the United States of America has filed a petition in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa for cancellation of taxes as to parcel 97-A referred to in that certain action in the District Court of the United States in and for the Southern District of California, Central Division, No. 7312-0 Civil, involving 0.76 acres of land located within the limits of the City of Azusa; and WHEREAS, all taxes on said 0.76 acres assessed prior to the time that the United States of America acquired title thereto have been paid. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to cancel all unpaid taxes on said 0.76 acres and is further directed to remove said premises from off the tax rolls of the City.
