The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at 7 o'clock P.M.
Present at roll call -Trustees Peirce, Moon,Goslin,
Bierbower and President Case,CityAttorney and City
C1erk.Absent-None.
The Minutes of last regular meeting held December 20,
1924) and regular adjourned session of December 27,1920.
were read and approved as read. /
Trustees Bierbower and Peirce were appointed to take TRUSTEES PEIRCE AND
up the matter of water service to the Azusa Foot- BIERBOWER APPOINTED

The matter of water service to Floyd Monia was ref-
erred to the Water Superintendent.
It was regularly moved that the Water & Light Suptt.
be authorized to purchase the following supplies;
250 feet3/8 Loom
250 1110 rubber covered wire
5 5 amp.Light meters
25 pounds.P & B Tape
25 fl Wire soder
1 2 inch Stock and Die
Carried by the following vote;Ayes-Trustees Peirce,
Moon,Goslin,Bierbower,Case, Noes -;done. Absent -None.
It was moved that the bid of the Silliam R Staats
Company for the $80,000.00 issue of Street Work
Bonds be rejected and the accompanying check be ret-
urned to the bidder,and that the sale of the Bonds be
temporarily postponed.
Carried by the following vote-Ayes;Trustees Peirce,
Moon,Gorlin,Bierbower,Case.Noes;None. Absent,None.
'A petition asking for the closing of a portion of
Second Street was received and referred to the City
Clerk for an estimate of the cost of the same.
It was moved that the President and City Clerk be
authorized to execute the lamp contract between the
City and the ffillinois Electric Company.

Goslin,Bierbower,Case. Noes-bTone, Absent -None.
On Motion an Ordinance entitled;
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA A,IENDING SECTION 12 OF ORDINANCE NO.191
of said City entitled:"AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA LICENSING AND
REGULATING CERTAIN KINDS OF BUISIdESS CARRIED ON
IN SAID CITY" ETC., ADOPTED MAY27"' 1928.
was taken up for its girst reading.
The Ordinance was read.
On motion the Ordinance was declared read for the
first time and laid over to the next meeting.
Trustee Bierbower presented the following Resolution;
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA,PROITIDING FOR-TFE TRANSITR OF $100. FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE WATER FUND.
THE Resolution was read.
On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote;Ayes Peirce,Moon,
Gorlin,Bierbower, Case.Noes;None. Absent;None.
It was moved thatthe deed of the Foot -hill Citrus
R2NdXtXtXHR Company to a portion of Tenth Street be
accepted and approved subject to a report ftom a
title Company showing the same to b e free from
incumbrance,and that the City Clerk be instructed to
have the same recorded.
Carried by the following vote;
