RESOLUTION N0. 2425
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE PERSONNEL
BOARD TO EMPLOY A PERSONNEL CLERK AND SETTING SALARY OF
SAID CLERK.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. Under and by virtue of the Civil Service
Ordinance adopted by Resolution No. 2395 on April 1$, 1950,
the position of personnel clerk is created and said ordinance
provides for the appointment thereof within 120 days from the
effective date of said ordinance from an eligible list established
from a competitive examination and said ordinance requiring the
salary be set by the City Council upon recommendation of the
board and the board having made its recommendation and the board
having determined that the office of personnel clerk be a full
time position until such time as additional duties may be assigned
to said clerk by the City Council.
Section 2. The personnel board is hereby authorized to
advertise for and conduct a competitive examination and to
employ a full time personnel clerk. That the salary of said
personnel clerk be and the same is hereby set at the sum of
$ 210.00 per month.
Section 3. Be it further resolved that the Mayor shall
sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest same and
certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
