HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 23590 RESOLUTION NO. 2359 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LOUISE AVENUE BETWEEN BROADWAY (FORMERLY DALTON ROAD) AND PARAMOUNT AVENUE UNDER PROJECT N0. 6. WHEREAS, on November 21, lglq there was a written protest filed with the City Clerk containing the signatures of thirty-two property owners within the district proposed to be assessed for the improvement proposed under Resolution No. 2353 adopted October 3, 1949; and WHEREAS, said written protest was by the owners of more than one-half of the area of property to be assessed for said improvement; and WHEREAS, said written protest has not been with- drawn and none of the signatories thereto have withdrawn their names therefrom so as to reduce the protest to less than a majority, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: That the proceedings proposed by said Resolution No. 2353, adopted on October 3, 1949 be and they hereby are forthwith abandoned.
