The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the monthly salaries of the following employees or the City of Azusa for the positions therein designatea to each, be and the same are fixed at the amounts placed opposite their respective names and positions, to -wit: V. BEFNARSKI Patrolman Patrolman $235.00 Effective 2-1-50 235.00 Effective 2-1-50 1 BE IT FURTiER RESOLVED that salaries as hereinbefore 2 fixed be and become effective as of October 1, 1949. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms of employment and 3 compensation of each of said employees shall be subject to the further action of the Council at any time, and that such employee 4 shall hold his position at the pleasure of the Council except such employees as are terminated by the voters of said City. That 5 upon the termination or the employment of the respective employees whether by reason of death, action of the City Council in declaring 6 the position vacant, or declaring the termination thereof, or for any reason whatsoever whether herein specifically mentioned or not, 7 said employee shall be paid to the date of such termination only and not for any unexpired portion of the then calendar month, such 8 payment for such month to be in that portion of the employee's compensation as the number of days which the employee has served 9 in that month bears to thirty day" 10 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2244 and all other resolutions heretofore enacted by the City Council 11 respecting the salaries of any employee in this Resolution named Is hereby rescinded so far as said resolution or resolutions 12 refer to the salary of such employee,but not in any other respect. 13 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify 14 to the passage and adoption thereof. 15 16 17 r�/7-e`City of Azusa 18 19 20 ATTEST: 21 22' M.
