The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call -Trustees Moon,Goelin and Pres-
ident Case,City Attorney•and City Clerk.

the safe keeping of public funds was read,and on
'motion regularly carried the same was referred to
the Finance Committee to matte satisfactory arrangwr.::A.%
ements with the City Treasurer in regard to safe
keeping of Street Work Bond Funds in accordance
with law.
It was moved that the City Treasurer be requested to
increase the amount of his bond as City Treasurer to
$25,000 for the term of one year or until the expi-
ration of his term of office,the same to be in some
approved surety company, and present the -same to the
Board for its approval. Motion carried.
It was moved that Mr Fisher be authorized to pur-
chase the following supplies; -
3 1 inch water meters
250 feet No.10 rubber covered iabse wire.
Carried by the following vote;-
Ayes;Moon,Goslln,Case. Noes;None. Absent;Peirce
and Bierbower.
It was regularly moved£Bnd carried that the City
Marshall be authorized to employ an extra man to
do police work during the Chautauqua.
It was Moved and carried that the City Attorney be
requested to bring in an Ordinance requiring the
'cleaning up of lots.
It was moved and carried that the City Attorney be
requested to bring in an Ordinance requiring the
general installation of flush toilets.
It was'regularly moved and carried that the Street
Superintendent be instructed to remove the fountain
on the northwest corner of Azusa Avenue and Centre
Street,

It was moved and carried that a committee of three COMMITTEE APPOINTED
be appointed to take up the matter of a new sanitary ON NEW FOUNTAIN

Centre Street,with power to act,and the following
were appointed. Trustees Moon,Goslin and President
Case.
It was moved that the President of the Board be
authorized to purchase one 72 cubic inch Police
Model Indian Motorcycle specially equipped with
generator and battery,three spot lights,Police
siren and Warner speedometer for the sum of $600,
the same to be paid by giving seller a $500.Victcry
bond and the sum of $100. cash upon delivery of
said machine together with a bill of sale for the
Rame to the City of Azusa

It was regularly moved and carried that the Street
Superintendent Walter Lovelace be granted a two
weeks vacation commencing May 9,1921.

Trustee Goslin offered the following Resolution;

SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR
COMPENSATION;
The Resolution was read.
On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote-Ayes;Moon,Goslin,
Case. Noes;None, Absent;Peirce_and Bierbower.
It was moved that the City Clerk be authorized to
purchase the following supplies,
1 Recorders Crimnal Docket.
200 plain envelopes.
1000 Street Work Bond Fund demands

25 Deposit permit books

Case. Noes;None. Absent,Peirce and Bierbower.
