The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. That for the purpose of raising the sums of money necessary to be raised by.taxation upon the taxable property of the City of Azusa as a revenue to'carry on the various departments of the City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1951, the rates of taxes for the different portions of the City of Azusa are hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property in the different portions of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1951, in the number of cents upon each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of said property as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, and for the several. .funds and purposes set forth in the following table, the taxes levied upon property in all portions of said City. ASSESSED VALUE For the General Budget Fund For the Park Fund For the Library Fund For the State Retirement Fund For the Interest and Sinking Fund for City Hall, authorized at election held in 1927 For the Interest and Sinking Fund for Street Work authorized at election held in 1920. $11,375,010.00 100 cents 30 cents 20 cents 25 cents 2.5 cents 2 cents For the Interest and Sinking Fund for Street Work authorized at election held in 1924 1.5 cents Total General Tax Rate -1- 181 cents 11 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Section 2. It is further resolved that the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify as to the passage and adoption hereof. The City Clerk shall also cause this resolution to be published once in the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Azusa, within 15 days after its passage.
