HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 25151 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 .27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 2515 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANTS OF EASEMENTS OVER PORTIONS OF LOTS 43 AND 44, SUBDIVISION NO. 2 OF THE AZUSA LAND AND WATER COMPANY FROM TED AND ELEANOR K. SWEDLOW AND AZUSA PROPERTIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. Whereas Ted Swedlow and Eleanor K. Swedlow have executed a grant of easement over the property hereinafter described to the City of Azusa, giving said City of Azusa the right to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on or over said property, an electric line consisting of polies, necessary guys and anchors, cross -arms, wires and other fixtures and appliances for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power and/or other purposes and also water lines to convey water therein, said property being described as follows: A portion of Lot 43, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company, as shown on a map recorded in Book 43, page 94, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of Foothill Boulevard, 100 feet wide, distant thereon South 890 51' 20" West 216.37 feet from the Northwest corner of Lot 38, Tract No. 13790, as shown on a map recorded in Book 275, pages 46 and 47 of Maps, records of said county; thence South 00 25' 10" East 240 feet; thence Westerly, parallel to said Southerly line of Foothill Boulevard, 10 feet; thence North 00 25' 10" West, parallel to the first mentioned course, 240 feet to said Southerly line of Foothill Boulevard; thence Easterly along said Southerly line of Foothill Boulevard, 10 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. And Whereas, H. M. Bucher, having an undivided Four -Ninths (4/9ths).interest, John C. Wilfong, having an undivided Two -Ninths (2/9ths) interest, Keith W. Section 3. It is resoLved that the City Council accept said said easements and the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause said easements to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, together with a certified copy of this resolution. Section 4. It is further resolved that the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify as to the passage and adoption hereof. T % Karli .
