Present at roll call -Trustees Peirce,Moon,Meier, and President Case and City Clerk. Absent -Trustee Bierbower and City Attorney. President Case announced the appointment of the following Standing Committees; AUDITING & FINANCE A.L.Mgier,Ira D.Moon,M.J.Peirce. PUBLIC WORKS Ira D.Moon,M.J.Peirce,A.L.Meier. SANITARY ANDoPOLICE M,J.Peirce,Ira D.Moon,A.L.Meier. ORDINANCE AND JUDICIARY Ira D,Moon,M.J.Peirce,A.L.Meier. PURCHASING Morgan J.Peirce,A.L.Meier.Ira D.Maon. On motion duly carried the appointments were rat- ified and approved. It was moved and carried that the bids for the furnishing of a motor truck be now opened,examined and publicly declared. The following bids were read; Kimball Motor Co. $5800.00 Autocar Sales & Service Co. 6087.00 Hares Motor Co. (Ricker) 6672.95 Mack -International Motor Corporation 5864.00 Tioga Tractor Sales Co.(Doane) 6000.00 United States Motor Truck Co. 4588.55 Federal Company 6196.31 Moreland Company 5700.00 ii n (interest extra) 5400.00 It was regularly moved and carried that the Board go into executive session for the purpose of con- sidering the different bids. After reassembling it was moved that the bid of the:: Kimball Motor Company be accepted and all other bids rejected and certified checks of said bidders be ret- urned and that the matter of contract be referred to the City Attorney. Carried by the following vote;Ayea-Peirce,Moon,Meier, Case. Noes;None. Absent,Bierbower, It was moved that Mr Fisher be authorized to purchase the following supplies; 1 coil No.8 copper wire 450 feet 2 in pipe 3 1 in water meters 10 5/8 x 3/4 water meters Carried by the following vgte;Peirce.Moon,Meler,Case, Noes;None. Absent;Bierbower, 283: STANDING COMMITTEES APPOINTED. . BIDS ON TRUCK OPENED BID OF KIMBALL CO, ACCEPTED. MR FISHER AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES.
