A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR THE ERECTION ANu Uoh Of
TEN ACRES LOCATED AT 10th AND PASADPmA TN THE CITY
OF AZUSA FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby re-
solve as follows:
Section 1. An application having been filed for the
ghanting of a variance under the provisions of Article XIX,
19.1 to 19.10, inclusive, of the Zoning Ordinance for a variance
changing the zone on the hereinafter described property being
ten acres located at 10th and Pasadena in the 6ity of Azusa,
Section 2. Proceedings having been taken pursuant to
the provisions of Ordinance No. 409 of the City of Azusa,
Section 3. The Planning Commission of the City of Azusa
having recommended that said variance be granted,
Section 4. It is resolved that a variance be granted to
allow the erection and use of the foregoing described property
by the Azusa City School District for the purpose of the erection
and use of a public school.. The property is knuw,i and described
as Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 in Block $5 of the City of Azusa,
with the exception of that portion of Lot 11 which extends into
the Lemon Tract and also north 30 feet of Lot 37 conveyed to
the City of Azusa for street purposes and, the westerly 360
feet of that portion of Lot 85, Sub -Division No. 2 0f- 4,he
Land and Water
Azusa Wetrei ,&nd-dotter Company lying northerly of the northerly
line of the right of way 80 feet wide granted to the Los Angeles
Inter -Urban Railroad Company.
Section 5. It is further resolved that the Mayor shall
sign this resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same
and certify as to the passage and adoption bprPnf.
