RESOLUTION NO. 2555
A RESOLUTION'OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF•THE CITY OF AZUSA
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2520 WHICH REQUESTED APPROVAL
OF FIFTH STREET AND SIXTH STREET AS MAJOR CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa adopted Resolution
No. 25200 requesting'approval of Fifth Street and Sixth Street
as additional major city streets pursuant tot he'provisions of
Section 2053 of the Streets and Highways -Code to supplement••
the major city streets previously approved, and
WHEREAS, the public interest- and, convenience require that other
streets be improved before Sixth Street,.and.
WHEREAS, the approval'of Fifth Street can be'facilitated by the adop-
tion and aiibmission of -another resolution,'
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that -Resolution No. 2520 which requested,
approval of Fifth Street•and Sixth Street as major city streets
is hereby rescinded.,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward two certified
copies of -this resoltition'to Mr. A. D. Griffin,*Asaistant
District Engineer', State Division of Highways, 120 South Spring
Street, Los Angeles 121, California. .
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor•shall sign this resolution and
the City Clerk shall attest the same and"oertify as to•the
passage and adoption .the'reof.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City
