The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call -Trustees peirce.Moon.Meier
and President,Case,City Attorney and City Clerk,
Absent -Trustee Bierbower.
The minutes of regular meeting held June 20th and
regular adjourried session of June 27th.were and
approved as read.
A request for vacation was received from Irene B.
Barnes, Collector of Revenue and on motion the same
was granted.

It was moved that the request of Walter McCaslin
for a permit to operate a lunch wagon in front of
the Ramona Pool Hall operated by Fred Hulmes be
granted,such operation to be between the hours of WALTER McCASLIN GRANTS
6 P.M. and 12 midnight and subject to payment of PERMIT TO OPERATE
license required by Ordinance and filing of the LUNCH WAGON,
written consent of the owner or occupant of the
abutting property, Motion (Jr= ied,
It was moved that the matter of an audit of the MATTER OF AUDIT REFW-
City books by Mr Vance be referred to the City Clerk ED TO CITY .CLERK TO SE
to secure from Mr Vance his price for the work and CURE ESTIMATE OF COST.
also his price for a monthly audit.
Motion carried.
It was moved that all bids received by the City Clerk
'up to June 27th.1921 at 7:30 P.M.for the construc-
tion and completion of -street work upon portion of
Pasadena Avenue between the Nobth line of 10th.
Street and the southerly boundary line of
of @i:byaof Azusa be opened examined and publicly
declared. Motion carried.
'The bid of J.L.Wilsford for the sum of $120400.00
was read.
III!On tion duly carried the bid was referred to the
lCity Engineer for investigation and report.
�) The City Engineer presented a report which was read
by the Clerk.
lIt was moved that the report of the City Engineer
on proposed street work on Pasadena Avenue be adop-
ted and approved and placed on file and the City
Attorney be instructed to present the necessary
Resolution in connection therewith.
Carried by the following vote -Ayes -Trustees Peirce,
Moon,Meier,Case. Noes;None. Absent;Bierbower,

MATERIALS AND LABOR FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND COMPL-
ETION OF STREET WORK UPON PORTIONS OF PASADENA AVENUEv`C'_tT
BETWEEN THE NORTH LINE OF TENTH STREET AND THE SOUTH-
ERLY BeUNDARY LINE OF SAID CITY OD AZUSA,AND DECLAR- RESOLUTION N0.651
ING,IN ITS OPINION,THE WORK OF CONSTRUCTING AND COM- ADOPTED,
PLETING SUCH STREET WORK,INCLUDING THE FURNISHING OF
,ALL MATERIALS AND TFE PERFORMANCE OF ALL LABOR THEREFOR
MAY BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR AND
ALL MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED AT A LOWER PRICE
IN THE OPEN MARKET,AND AUTHORIZING THE City Engineer
OF SAID CITY TO NEGOTIATE FOR AND HROCURE ALL SUCH
LABOR AND MATERIALS SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF' THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
