Present at roll call -Trustees Peirce,Moon,kleier,and President Case,gnd City Clerk. The Minutes of regular meeting held July 5th.and Special meeting held July 13th.were nd and approved as read. Trustee Meier offered the following Resolution; A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,CALIFORNIA,PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $500.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND, The Resolution was read. On motion the Resolution was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote; Ayes;Peirce,Moon,Meier,Case. Noes;None. Absent; Bierbower. 'It was moved that the City Engineer be instructed to purchase for the City of Azusa,two Fresnos,one road plow together with lead bars,chains and other necessary equipment,the total cost not to exceed $250.00,such material to be used in connection with the acqursition,construction and completion of street work upon public streets of the City of Azusa. Carried by the following vote;Ayes;Peirce,Moon,Meier Case. Noes;None. Absent;Bierbower. It was regularly moved and carried that the matter of hiring of mules and equipment for use in the acquisition,construction and completion of street work in the City of Azusa be referred to a committee consistiag of Trustee Meier,City Engineer Nichols and Superintendent of Construction Mills with power to act. Carried by the foving vote-Ayea;Peirce,Moon, Meier,Case. Noes;None. Abeent;Bierbower. It was moved that the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for supplying the City of Azusa with a sprinkling wagon of 750 gallons capacity of riveted steel plate,six inch steel tires,and further in accordance with specifications fr mished by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City fiektsuchrwagon to be used in connection with the quisition,construction and completion of street rk upon the public streets of the City of Azusa. Carried by the following vote. .Ayes-Peirce.Moon, Meier,Case. Noes;None. Absenj;Bierbower. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrant- ordered drawn on the treasurer for the same. Carried by the following v6te. Ayee;Peirce,Moon,Meier,Caee. Noes;None. Absent;Bierbower. RESOLUTION NO.654 ADOPTED. CITY EPIGINEER INSTRU- CTED TO PURCF?ASE SUPPLIES, COMMITTEE APOINTED TO RENT MULES AND EQUIP- MENT. CLERK INSTRUCTED TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR SPRINKLING WAGON. AND APPOINTING HENRY P.GOODPJIN CITY ATTORNEY OF SAID CITY OF AZUSA AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COMPENA SATIONa Thd Resolution was read. On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.
