The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call -Trustees Peirce,Moon,Meier
and President Case,City Attorney and City Clerk.
Absent -Trustee Bierbower,
The minutes of last regular meeting held July 18th.
1921 were read and approved as read.

It was moved that the City Attorney be instructed
to prepare a contract with the Kimball Motor Truck CITY ATTORNEY TO PREP -
Company in accordance with their bid of June 13, ARE TRUCK CONTRACT
1921 which Was accepted at the meeting of June 21,
19210with the further understanding that said cont-
ract shall contain a provision that in the, event that
the City shall elect to pay the purchase price of said
truck in cash within ten days from delivery that a

Hiscount be allowed the City amounting to 2% of
tie full contract price,otherwise the cost price
to be paid $500.00 upon delivery and acceptance
of truck and $500.00 or more upon the first day of
of each and every thereafter,providing that in any
event such payments shall be fully completed on or
before one year from date of delivery,further pro-
vided that a bond for the sum of $1450.00 shall be
required for the faithful performance of said cont-
ract on the part of the sella•.

Trustee Meier offered the following Resolution;
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $1350.00
FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND.
The Resolution was read.
On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.

It was regularly moved and carried that the City CITY ENGINEER INSTRUCT

It was moved that demand No.2187 of the Southern
California Edison Company for $684.77 be approved EDISON BILL PROTESTED.
under protest as recommended by the Auditing Com-
mittee and on the ground stated in tle written
protest attached thereto.

It was moved that the following bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn on the Treasurer for the
