1 RESOLUTION NO. 2924
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
3 CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASF.P�NT
FROM AZUSA PROPERTIES, IPIC., A CORPORATION,
4 TO THE CITY OF AZUSA AND AUTHORIZING THE
RECORDING THEREOF.

7 The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:

SECTION 1: That that certain Grant of Easement to the
9 City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, California, dated November
27 , 1953, signed by Azusa Properties, Inc., a corporation, by
10 Nathan S. Krems, President, grantor, be and the same is hereby
accepted.

That in said Grant of Easement the property is more
12 particularly described as follows:
13 A portion of Lot 86, Map of Subdivision No. 2, Azusa
Land and Water Co. as per map recorded in Book 43,
14 page 94, of Miscellaneous Records of the County of
Los Angeles, State of California; being a strip of
15 land 12 feet in width lying 6 feet on each side of
16
the following described center line:
,
Commencing at a'point in the westerly line -of said
17 Lot 86, distant thereon 400 feet northerly from the
southwesterly corner of said Lot; thence easterly, at
18 right angles'to said westerly line 52 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence northerly, in a direct line
19 to the southeasterly corner of Lot 6 Block 84 Map of
Azusa, as per map recorded in Bookll�, pages 9S to 96
20 inclusive, Miscellaneous Records -of said County; the
side lines of said strip of land being lengthened or
21 shortened to terminate on the westerly line of said
Lot 86 and on a line parallel wkth•and distant 400
22 feet northerly, from the southerly line of said Lot 86.
23 SECTION 2: That the City Clerk Is hereby authorized and
directed to attach to said Deed•abo-Ve-mentioned, a certified copy
24 of this Resolution and said City Clerk is hereby authorized and
instructed to cause said Deed, together with certified copy of
25 this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
26 Recorder of said Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall
27 sign tolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and
certify.to,t passage and adoption thereof.

regular meeting of said Council of said City held in the regylar

The grantor AZUSA PROPERTIES, INC. hereby grants to the CITY OF AZUSA,
a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to
construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on, and over the real prop-
erty hereinafter described, situate in the City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, California, an electric
line consisting of poles, necessary guys and anchors, cross -arms, wires and other fixtures and appli-
ances for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power and/or other purposes(and
also water lines to convey water therein) Said real property is described as follows:
A portion of Lot 86, Map of Subdivision No. 2, Azusa land and (Pater Co., as per
map recorded in Book 43, page 94, of Miscellaneous Records of the County of Los
Angeles, State of California; being a strip of land 12 feet in width lying 6
feet on each side of the following described center lines
Commenoing at a point in the westerly line of said Lot 86, distant thereon 400
feet northerly from the southwesterly corner of said Lot; thence easterly, at
right angles to said westerly line, 62 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence northerly, in a direct line to ihe'southeisterly corner of Lot 60 Block
84, Map of Azusa, as per map recorded in Book 15, pages 93 to 96 inclusive,
Miscellaneous Records of said County; the side lines of said strip of land being
lengthened or shortened to terminate on the westerly line of said Lot 86 and on
a line parallel with and distant 400 feet northerly, from the southerly line of
said Lot 86.
The Grantee, its successors and assigns and its and their agents and employees, shall have free
access to said electric line and water lines and every part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of
exercising the rights herein granted, and shall have the right to trim or top such trees as mak. eLrU,
danger or interfere with said electric lines,
