CALIFORNIA FLUTWOOO 4.1204 RESOLUTION NO. 2890 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY CALIFORNIA APPOINTING FRED E. WILLIAMS ACTING CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AND FIXING HIS SALARY. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows; WHEREAS, at the present time there is no one acting as Chief of Police of the City of Azusa, and WHEREAS, it is urgently necessary that an Acting Chief of Police be appointed to act until the further order of the City Council; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Fred E. Williams be, and he is hereby appointed Acting Chief of Police of said City of Azusa until such time as the City,Council may by resolution hereafter designate -'that the appointment of said Fred E. Williams as such Acing Chief be retroactive as of October, 1953. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary of the Acting Chief of Police be and the same is hereb fixed in the sum of x$443.00 per month, beginning with the h of October, 1953. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
