RESOLUTION NO. 2799
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSAi COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY FOR STREET
PURPOSES BETWEEN THIRD AND FOURTH STREETS ON ANGELENO
IN SAID CITY OF AZUSA, AND FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRES SAID PROPERTY FOR
STREET PURPOSES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby resolve
as follows:
Section 1. Whereas, Angeleno Avenue, between Third and
Streets in the City of Azusa is narrow and,
Section 2. Whereas, the City Council has considered the
same and has found and determined that the public interest and
necessity requires the acquisition by the City of Azusa and
that the property hereinafter;.described is necessary therefor And
is essential.for,the•public improvement and that said public
improvement is.planned or located in a manner which will be'most
compatible with the greatest public,good and the least private
injury.
Section 3. Now, therefore, itis -resolved that,,in view of
the foregoing, that the City ofAzusa is,, and the City Attorney
of the City of Azusa is hereby authorized and directed to file an
action to condemn the property hereinafter described for street
purpose of spreading and widening said street:
Parcel No. 1. The easterly.40 feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly line of lot 13 and
the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of lot
15, in block 59 of Azusa Tract.
Parcel No. 2. The easterly 40'feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of, the northerly and southerly lines
of lot 16 in block 59 of Azusa Tract.
Parcel No. 3. The easterly 40.feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly and southerly lines
of lot 17 in block 59 of Azusa Tract.

Parcel No. 4. The easterly 40 feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly line of lot 18 and
the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of
lot Win block 59 of Azusa Tract.
Parcel No. 5. The easterly 40 feet.of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly and southerly lines
of lot 20, in block 59 of Azusa.Tract.
Parcel No. 6. The easterly 40 feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly and southerly lines
of lot.21 in block 59 of Azusa Tract.
Parcel•No. 7. The easterly 40 feet of that portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide; lying -between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly and southerly lines
of lot 221n block 59 of said Azusa Tract..
Parcel No, S. The easterly 40 feet of that'portion of
Angeleno Avenue, 80 feet wide, lying between the west-
erly prolongation of the northerly line of lot 23 and
the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of
lot 24 inrblock 59 of Azusa Tract.
All of the.above described parcels of land are located
in block 50 as shown on the map of Azusa Tract, in the
city of Azusa,,eounty of Los Angeles, state of Cali
fornia, as per map recorded in book 15 page 93 of
Miscellaneous Records, vacated by order of the Board
of Supervisors of Los Angeles County on December 23,
.1891 as per Road Book 4 Page 4 on file in the office "
of the. Board of -Supervisors of said county. .
Parcel No, l- is registered under the Land Title Law, on
Certificate No. NT -13503 issued•Septemher 1, 1943•, at
Section 4. The Mayor shall sign this 'resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest thb..same and certify as to the passage
