Present at roll call;Trustees Peirce,4Loon and President Case.City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent;Trusteee Meier and Bierbower. The minutes of regular meeting held October 3rd. and regular adjourned session held October 10th. were read and approved as read. 337. 'A protest was received from Mr L.Drendel because PROTEST ERECTION OF of the alledged construction of a wooden btli•ld FRAME BUILDING IN FIRE ing by S and A.Daniels in the fire district,and DISTRICT. on motion the same was referred to the Building Inspector to report at the next meeting. An invitation was received from the County Board of Supervisors for this City to meet in joint con- ference with representatives of other Municipali- ties of the County for the purpose of discussing and considering the advisability and methods of affecting the permanent Regional Planning Confer- enee,and on motion duly carried lir Goodwin,City Attorney and Mr Barker C&ipultttng Engineer were appointed to represent the City at the meeting to Wz be held in the Supervisors office at 10 A.M.Oct. 26th.21921. Ot was moved that Mr Fisher be authorized to purc- hase the following supplies. One crate SR16 globes,3 one inch water meters and 500 feet 3/4 pipe. Carried by the following vote;Ayes-Peirce Moon,Case. Noes;None. Absent:Meier and Bierbower. CITY ATT'Y.AND CONSULT- ING ENGINEER APPOINTED TO ATTEND MEETING IN SUP ERVISORS OFFICE. FISHER AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES. The Sanitary and Police Committee reported favorably MR OSCAR PELTON GRANTED 'on the application of Mr Oscar Pelton for a permit POOL AND BILLIARD°PERMIT to operate a pool and billiard parlor and on motion ; duly carried the s%me was granted subject to the Ordinances of the City governing the same. Trustee Peirce reported that he had made arrangements with Mr B3tunner for his employment as Tr-fdc Officer as authorized at the last meeting. IH SjfHNIijt BRUNNER FAO?- LOYED AS TRAFFIC OFFICER Trustee Peirce presented the following Resolution; A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPOINTING SYDNEY BRUNNER TO THE, OFFICE OF RESOLUTION 662 ADOPTED 'TRAFFIC OFFICER OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COMPENSATION. Trustee Moon presented the following Resolution; A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,AUTHORIZING AND EMPORERING H.P.GOODWIN, CITY ATTORNEY OF SAID CITY,TO ENTER I14TO A STIP`4=. ULATION IN THE CAUSE NOW PENDING BEFORE THE SUP- ERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF IAS ANGELES,ENTITLED COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,PLAINTIFF,VS THE CITIES OF ALHAMBRA, ET AL.,DEFENDENTS,NO.Ba*9828.
