RESOLUTION 0. 2684 2 A.RESOLUTSON OF THE CITY COTJNCIL OF'THE-CITY' OF.AZUSA COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, .STATS OF 3' CALIFOR$fA,.DESIGNATING CERTAIN=STREETS IN 4 THE CITY OF'AZUSA AS STREETS OF MAJOR`1.4- PORTANCE,,AND REMOVING CERTAIN.ETREETS FROM 5 THE LIST` OF STREETS ,KNOWN AS STREETS. OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. 6 7 The -City Council of the City of Azusadoeshereby resolve 8 as follows: 9 section 1. Whereas, there has recently been various changes 10 in the traffic situation viithinl%the'.City of Azusa and the traffic a 11 problem,- has suddenly become of. major importance in,certain„ .mZm.' =0 12 portions of the City ©f `Azusa,, and LLu.00 13 Section 2. Whereas, a#pig other things, Aerojet Engineering o "NLL..74 Corporation, a plant vitally connected vrith furnishing materials o3.Wa NQ 15 necessary for the defense of our country., have recently found' ZZ 16 it 'neeessary.to instal'parkingaots for the parking of employees 1-o�a �<<� 17 and others in. the Western ter*nus'of certain streets within'the o :4N 18 City. -of Azusa, and have increased materially the traffic on,.•," 2i -xi s.19 said streets as well* ether streets leading to their main . 20 arterials for the purpose of ingress and egress to and'fm 21 their -`plant." 22 Section 3. Now, _therefor,'e, it is resolved that, in the 23' opinion• of the City Council, iiJs,vital to" the City of Azusa that 24 certain. streets, or portion�'thereof, be, made streets: of major 25 importance, and other streets be eliminated•fram the streets 26 designated as streets of major.importance. 27 Section 4.
