The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular -session at the above time and place. Present at roll call -Trustees Peirce,t?oon,Meier and President Case,City Attorney and City Clerk absent -Trustee Bierbower. The minutes of October 17,1921 were read and appro- ved as read. 343 It was regularly moved and carried that Tyr D.Muscovitz MUSCOVITZ GRANTED PER - be granted permission to move a small three room house YIT TO MOVE HOUSE. from Second and Azuen Avenue to the East side of Azusa Avenue between Second and Third such work to be done under the supervision of the Building Inspector. On motion the City Tax Collector was authorized to deduct the amount of $185 from the Personal Property valuation of the Owl Fumigating Corporation,and the amount of $500.assessed.against Mrs Bessie Matney for improvements on the grounds that such property was not assessagle on the first Monday in March of this year. Carried by the following vote-A,yes;Peirce,Moon, Meier,Ca.se.PToes;None.Absent;Bierbower, It was moved and carried that an Ordinance entitled; AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZTJEA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.194 OF SAID CITY ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OV, THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE, CITY OF AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM OF SAID CITY AND ESTABLISHING THE RATES FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE BY SAID CITY AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 185 IN RELATION THERETO,"ADOPTED DECEMBER 16TH,1918, BY ADDUTG TFERETO"A NE SECTION TO BE DESIGNATED AS SECTION 8� OF SAID ORDINANCE NO.194,PROVIDING FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE FOR NON°PAYM`0T OF SERVICE 'BILLS AND ESTABLISHING A RECCONNECTION CHARGE9BE taken up for its second reading. On motion an Ordinenceentitled;AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.178 OF SAID CITY ENTITLED:"AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,ESTAB""._ LISHING THE RATE TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY OF AZUSA FOR WATER AND WATER CONNECTIONS,AND PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF WATER,AND FIXING APENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF,AND REPEALING ALL FORMER ORDINAITCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE, ADOPTED MAY 29TH, 1916, BY _AMTKTDING SECTION 4 TH 5REGr . , BE Talken up for its first reading. It was regularly moved and carried that the City Treasurer be instructed to apportion what tax funds he now has on hand. It was regularly moved and carried that the City Clerk be instructed to vadItest the automobile Club to place speed limit signs on Pasadena Avenue by the grammar school. It was regularly moved and carried that dbmand No. 2240 of the Southern California Edison £ompany for 01866,78 be approved under protest as recommended by the Auditing Committee and on the grounds stated in the written protest attached thereto. Carried by the following vote;Ayes-Peirce,Moon, Meier, Case.Noes;None. Absent;Bierbower. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn on the Treasurer for the same.
