A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND/OR
EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND FIXING THE SALARIES OR COMPENSATION

The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
Section 1. Effective as of July 1, 1934, and subject to
the provisions hereinafter stated and to any further action of this
Council at any time, the following named persons are hereby appoint-
ed to the respective offices and/or employments of and by the City
per month
of Azusa, at the salaries or compensations/to bGr`PUfd during the
time such officer or employee shall hold such office or employment,
and as set forth in the following schedule, to -wit:
J. 0. Durrell, City Judge - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $ 65.00
Frank D. Healy, City Attorney - - - - - - - - - - .75.00
(Additional compensation, in a resonable sum, shall be
paid for.legal services relating to any legal action
in any Court other than the City Court of said City and
the Justice's Court of said Township.) I

All of said officers and/or employees shall hold such
office and/or employment -at the pleasure of said.Council. Upon the
termination of any appointment or employment hereunder, whether by
reason of death, action of the Council in declaring the office or
employment vacant, or declaring the termination thereof, or by any
reason whatsoever, the officer or employee'shall be paid to the date
of such termination only (and not for any unexpired' -portion of the
then calendar month) such payment to be at a per diem rate from and
including the first day of the then calendar month in the proportion
that 30 days bears to the salary or compensation for the office or
employment so terminated.
Section 2. Effective as of July 1, 1934, Resolutions No.
739 -`141-896-903-913-914-1122-1243-1165-1267-1224-1225=1269-1270-
1271-1272-1279-1297-1318-1325-1327-'!'.',-1353-1386-1401-854-
and paragraph "Third:" and "Fourth:" of Section 1 of Ordinance No.
272 are hereby repealed and declared to be superseded by this
Resolution.
Section 3. The bayor shall sign this Resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption
thereof.
