A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
THE PAVING OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF AZUSA
AVENUE AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A REIN-
FORCED CONCRETE BRIDGE ACROSS THE LITTLE
DALTON 'WASH ON SAID AZUSA AVENUE - STATE
HIGHWAY ROUTE N0. • 62 'WITHIN SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
/J That this City Council hereby finds and declares

is the lowest regular, responsible bidder for the work herein-
after described, and this Council hereby awards the contract
for said work to the said ,khlev Al. 14/,v
at the prices named in `ji,f
bid, to -wit:
PROJECT NO. 1.
For the construction of a reinforced
concrete bridge, retaining walls and other appurten-
ances over the Little Dalton Wash on Azusa Avenue,
and the grading and construction of asphalt concrete
upon the approaches to said bridge from Station
14 + 00 to Station 19 + 50, all as more particularly
shown upon Plan No. 13 (New Series), including the
removal of existing bridge, for the total sum of ... $z�, Se.67, 7
PROJECT NO. 2.
For the construction of asphalt concrete
pavement upon the existing macadam pavement on Azusa
Avenue, from the southerly line of Foothill Boulevard
to the southerly line of Sixth Street, all as shown
upon Plan No. 13 (New Series), complete for the
total sum of .......................................

PROJECT NO.3.
For the construction of asphalt pavement
upon the existing macadam pavement 22 feet in width
and the construction of asphalt concrete shoulders
9 feet in width along each side of the existing maca-
dam pavement, including grading upon Azusa Avenue
from the southerly line of First Street to the north-
erly line of Broadway, excepting therefrom approaches
to reinforced concrete bridge lying between Station
14 + 00 and Station 19 + 50, all as shown upon plan
No.13 (New Series), provided that only such portions of
said Azusa Avenue shall be paved as funds are available,
and along those portions designated by the Superintendent
of Streets of the Cityvof Azusa, for grading and paving�/
complete as per plans, per lineal foot of roadway ........

All other bids for said work are hereby rejected and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to return to the respective
bidders all checks accompanying the rejected bids.
It is hereby further resolved that, the Mayor of said
City and the City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and
empowered to execute the contract for said work in behalf of the
City of Azusa.
