protesting,against the recent reduction in salary of the
office of Tax Collec'tdr% and,

said protest and after due consideration an -1 taking -into
account the liberal salary paid to the said 19m. J. holden,
"as City,Treasu-rer, and being satisfied that the combined
salary for the -two p6s'itions i•s very fair,
NOI'l, THEREFORE be it resolved that the said
protest be filed "and no further action be',taken thereon
by: the Council.' ..•

was duly and regularly adopted by the.City Council of the
City of Azusa,at.a regular meeting, held on the 6th day
