HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 34171 2 3 4 5 6 7 S' 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. 16 17 181 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 3417 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA GRANTING THE PETITION OF AZUSA SgUARE PROPERTIES, INC., FOR VARIANCE FROM ZONE CI TO ZONE C3 SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS HEREIN SET FORTH. WHEREAS, Azusa e Propertles, Inc., has heretofore filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Azusa, a Petition for Variance of the property hereinafter described from Zone Cl to Zone C3; and 1;1HEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Azusa has held public hearings on said petition as provided by Ordinance 409, as amended, on the question of granting or denying said petition; and. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, after such hearings, has rendered its recommendation to the City Council to the effect that said Azusa QquaMp Properties Inc., be granted.a limited variance from Zone Cl to Zone C3, -on certain property which is hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its regular meeting held on April to ,1956, granted said limited variance. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that a limited variance be and the same is hereby ordered and made under Article 19 of Ordinance 409 of the City of Azusa, as amended, permitting the variance of the hereafter described premises from Zone Cl to Zone C3, namely, The Easterly 400 feet of the Northerly 390 feet of Lot 86, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company, Miscellaneous Records, Book 43, Page 94, as filed in the office of theCounty Recorder of Los Angeles County. 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 Said variance being limited strictly to being used for the purpose of constructing and erecting a building thereon to operate a bowling alley, and such further activity as usually accompany the operation of a bowling alley, and subject also to the following conditions, to -wit: That said petitioner shall erect and maintain commercial lighting on the premises herein described, subject to the 8 approval of the Commissioner of the Light and Water Department, 9 and the City Engineer.
