THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING PETITION OF AUGUST TIEMAN FOR VARIANCE ON CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM ZONE R-1,TO ZONE M-2, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS HEREIN SET FORTH. WHEREAS, August Tieman has heretofore filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Azusa, a Petition for Variance of the property hereinafter described from Zone R-1 to Zone M-2; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Azusa has held. public hearings on said petition as provided by Ordinance 409, as amended, on the question of granting or denying said petition; and WHEREAS, the City planning Commission, after such hearings, has rendered its recommendation to the City Council to the effect that said August Tieman be granted a limited variance from Zone R-1 to Zone M-2, on certain property which is hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its regular meeting held on April 16 ,1956, granted said limited variance. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that a limited exception and variance be and the same is hereby ordered and made under Article 19 of Ordinance 409 of the City of Azusa, as amended, permitting the variance of the hereinafter described'premises from Zone R-1 to Zone M-2, namely, the North 127 feet of the South 254 feet of the East one-half of the West one-half of Lot 48, subdivision No. 2, Azusa .ILnd:- and Water Company, located at 470 South Mira Loma drive, excepting and excluding from said variance, the East 50 feet of the North 127 feet of the said premises, said variance being limited strictly for the use of manufacturing 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15) 161 17 18 19 20 211 22, 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 and selling and delivering of cement specialities, and for no other purpose which may be embraced in said Zone M -2e This variance is granted on the condition,`;and it is hereby declared to be the intent that if any provision of this exception is violated or held to be invalid, or if any law, stature or ordinance is violated, the exception shall be void and the privileges granted hereunder shall lapse. This exception shall not be effective for any purpose until the owner of the property involved has filed at the office of the City Clerk his affidavit stating that he is aware of and accepts all the conditions of this exception. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and. certify to the passage and adoption thereof. ,1 - Mayor of the City bf Azusa ATTEST: Gi-ty Clerk of the City of Azusa Passed, approved and adopted this l6thday of April, 1.956.
