A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM THE AZUSA
4 FOOTHILL CITRUS CO., TO THE CITY OF AZUSA,
AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDING THEREOF.

6 The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
7 follows:
8 SECTION 1. That that certain Grant of Easement to the
9 City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, dated December 13, 1955, signed
10 by Hugh L. Macnell, as President, and D. H. McKellar, as Secretary,
11 of the Azusa Foothill Citrus Co., be, and the same is, hereby
12 accepted. That in said Grant of Easement the following property
13 in the County of Los Angeles, California, is more particularly
14 described as follows:

The Southerly 12 feet and the Easterly 12 feet
16 of the Southerly 25 feet of that portion of Lot
85, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water
17 Company, as per map recorded in Book 43 at Page
94, of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of
18 the County Recorder of said Los Angeles County,
lying Northerly of the Right of Way (80feet wide)
19 granted to the Los Angeles Interurban Railway
Company by deed recorded in Book 2712 at Page
20 2110 of Deeds, records of said County, and shown
on map attached thereto. (EXCEPT the Westerly
21 360 feet of the above described land.)
22 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
23 and directed to attach to said Grant of Easement, above mentioned,
24 a certified copy of this Resolution and said City Clerk is hereby
25 further authorized and instructed to cause said Grant of Easement
26 together with the certified copy of this Resolution, to be
27 recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
28 County.
29 SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall
30 sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and
31 certify to the passage and adoption thereof.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City, held in the
regular Council Chambers of said City Council in said City,
February 6, 1956 and that the same was passed by the
following vote of the Council:

The grantor Azusa Foothill Citrus Co. hereby grants to the CITY OF AZUiSA,
pnoq e7c usive
a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the/rtg%tt to
construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on, and over the real prop-
erty hereinafter described, situate in- _ flsromt, Los Angeles County, California, an electric
line consisting of poles, necessary guys and anchors, cross -arms, wires and other fixtures and appli-
ances for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power and/or other purposes and
also water lines to convey water therein. Said real property is described as follows:
The Southerly 12 feet and the Easterly 12 feet of the Southerly 25 feet
of that portion of Lot 85, Subdivision No, 2, Azusa I -and and Water
Company, as per snap recorded in Book 43 at Page 94, of Miscellaneous
Records, in the Office of the County Recorder of said Los Angeles County,
lying Northerly of the Right of Way (80 feet wide) granter to the Los
Angeles Interurban Railway Company by dead recorded in Book 2712 at
Page 211, of Deeds, records of said County, and shown on snap attached
thereto. (E XCEPT the Westerly 360 -feet of the above described land.)
RESERVING to the Grantor, its successors and assigns, in theevent that
the use of the land be changed to other than the production of agri-
cultural crops, the right at any time after such change to relocate said
easement to another location reasonably close to the land described above.
At such time as Grantor, or its successors or assigns, shall notify
Grantee, or its successors or assigns, that it has exercised its right to
relocate said easement, Grantor or its successors or assigns, shall tender
to Grantee or its successors or assigns a new grant of easement over such
new location in exchange for a quitclaim deed to the land described above.
Promptly after the exchange of said grant of easement and quitclaim deed
Grantee, its successors or assigns, shall at Its own expense, remove all
of its installations from the land described above.
The Grantee, its successors and assigns and its and their agents and employees, shall have free
access to said electric line and water lines and every part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of
exercising the rights herein granted, and shall have the right to trim or top such trees as may en-
danger or interfere with said electric lines.
