6 WhEPEAS, Dale L. Harvey and Charlotte Sultan Harvey, have
7 filed with the City Planning Commission a petition for Special
8 Use Permit on the property hereinafter described, for the pur-
9 nose of onerating a non-ferrous foundry thereon, and
10 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Azusa
11 has held Dublic hearing as provided by Ordinance No 409, on the
12 question of granting or denying said petition, and
13 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission after'such hearings
14 has rendered its opinion recommending to the City Council that
15 the Petition for Special Use Permit be granted, and
16 WHEfiEAS, the City Council at its regular meeting on January
17 3, 1956, apnroved the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
18 and granted said Special Use Permit.
19 TFEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
20 of Azusa as follows
21 That a Special Use Permit for the purpose of operating a
22 non-ferrous foundry be and is hereby granted on the property
23 described as follows, to wit
24 That portion of Lot 11, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and
25 Water Company, City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State
26 of California, Book 43,�fage,94 of Miscellaneous Records,
27 in the office of the County Recorder of said County, des -
28 cribed as follows B 1 11
egihn`ng at a point in the Westerly
29 line of Motor Avenue, 80 feet wide, as shown on crap of
30 Tract No 8507, in Book 102,�pages 78*to 80 of gaps, Records
31 of said County,distant thereon 2014 26 feet, Southerly from
32 the northwesterly corner of said Tract No, 8507, thence

continuing southerly along §aid westerly 'line300 feet,
thence westerly at right angles to said westerly line of
Motor Avenue 411.32 feet, more or less to the northeasterly
line of the rignt of way of The Pacific Electric Railway
Company, 30 feet wide, as described in the deed recorded
as Instrument No 2401 on July 13, 1950 in Book 33670,
nage 286, Official Records of said County, thence north-
westerly along said northeasterly line to the point of
Intersection with the easterly line of the right of way of
The Pacific Electric Railway Company, 40 feet wide, descri
as Parcel "A", in Quitclaim Deed recorded April 28, 1948
in gook 27050 page 68, Official Records, thence northerly

passing through the point of beginning and at right
angles to said westerly line of Motor Avenue, thence
s east-rly along the las tdescribed line 463.97 feet more or
less to the point of beginning
BE IT FUPTHER 3T;'SODIED that said Special Use Permit is
granted under the .prcgvisions of, Sections 18 1, 18.2, 18.3,
18.4, 18 5, 18.6, 18 7, 18.8 and 18.9 of Jrdinance No. 409, of
the City of Azusa, as amended, and subject to all the require-
went's,-restrictions and provisions of the said Sections.
:&E^IT FU-TFET: RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
Resolution -and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify
to the passage and adoption thereof.
