M. 27 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: :,loon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, City Clerk. Absent: Peirce. The minutes of the regular meeting held June 5th and the Special meeting held June 8th, were read and approved as read. It was moved that the bill of D. G. F'nead for Auto repairs be allowed and a warrant ordered drawn for 'the same. Carried by the followin6 vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. '). r,. The Superintendent of the ''tater & Light Departments was authorized to purchase the following supplies: WAT.-M & LIGHT SUPT. 10 5 Amp. Light Meters AUTHORIZED TO PUR- 10 5/8 Neptune 'Tater Meters CHASE SUPPLIES, 1 31 x 4 C aseing and Tube for Ford. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth. Noes: None, Absent: Trustee: Peirce. It was moved that the City Clerk be authorized to include $5,33 in the salary warrant of Miss Lillie SALARY WARRANT TO Taylor to care for back pay. INCLUDE BACK PAY. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Noes: None. Absent: Trustee - Peirce. 'The City Attorney presented a deed from W. H. Trustee Moon presented the following Resolution: "A RESOLUTION OF THE L'OARD OF 'TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $1000.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND, The Resolution was read. RESOLUTION N0, 685 0n motion the Resolution was adopted as read. ADOPTED. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Cheno%.veth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. It was moved and carried that an Ordinance entitled: "Aid ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF STEAFR AND INTER -URBAN RAILWAYS I,d THE CITY OF AZUSA." be taken up and read for its second reading, 'The Ordinance was read. It was regularly moved and carried that the Ordinance be declared read for the second time and taken up for its third reading and final passage. The Ordinance was read. It was moved that the Ordinance be adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. It was moved that a committee consisting of the Presi- dent and Clerk be appointed to purchase Lots 42 & 43 in Block 30 at a cost of not exceed $250.00 each. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. tIt was moved that the office of Traffic Officer be declared vacant and the adjustment of his sa- lary and the matter of repairs to and the dis- position of the motor cycle be referred to the Sanitary and Police Committee to report at next meeting.
