RESOLUTION NO. 3477
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN DANLEE STREET, DECLARING
THAT THE PROJECT CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY
BY DAY LABOR AND THE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED
AT A LOWER PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKET, AND ORDERING
THE PROJECT DONE IN THE MANNER STATED.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa did duly
advertise for bids for the construction of street improvements in
Danlee Street, and
WHEREAS, all bids for the construction of said street
improvements have been duly and publicly opened, examined and declared,
and
WHEREAS, said bids have been duly considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
SECTION 1. That all bids received pursuant to notice duly
published for the construction of street improvements in Danlee Street,
as aforesaid, be and the same are hereby rejected.
SECTION 2. That the City Council does hereby find, declare
and determine that the said project can be performed more economically
by day labor and the supplies and materials therefor furnished at a
lower price in the open market, and that the City proceed with said
project in the manner stated.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 24th day of July, 1956; by the following vote of
the Council:
