RESOLUTION NO. 3+39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, EMPLOY-
ING GILBERT BOSCOE, WRAY D. CALLAHAN, OLLIE WALDEN,
JACKIE GATES, LOUISE BASHORE, ALBERT EATON, AND
ONE PART TIME LOCKER BOY AND ONE PART TIME LOCKER
GIRL, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWIMMING POOL IN
THE CITY PARK OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DURING THE
SUMMER 1956 PERIOD AND FIXING THEIR SALARIES.
WHEREAS, the City Park and Recreation Commission of the City
of Azusa has recommended that the following people be employed
in connection with the swimming pool in the City Park of the
City of Azusa during the summer 1956 period, at the following
wages, to -wit:
Gilbert Boscoe, Pool Manager, full time (9 $2:00 per hour
Wray D. Callahan, Asst. Manager, @ $1.65 per hour
011ie Walden, Matron, full time, @ $1.50 per hour
Jackie Gates, Guard, @ $1.50 per hour
Louise Bashore, Guard, @ $1.50 per hour
Albert Eaton, Guard, @ $1.50 per hour
One part time locker boy @ $1.00 per hour
One part time locker girl @ $1.00 per hour, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that such
employees are necessary and proper and that the wages, as herein
indicated, are reasonable.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA that Gilbert Boscoe be employed as Pool Manager, full time,
at the rate of $2.00 per hour; that Wray D. Callahan, be employed
as Assistant Manager, at the rate of $1.65 per hour; that Ga lie
Walden be employed ast Matron, full time, at the rate of $1.50
per hour; that Jackie Gates, Louise Bashore and Albert Eaton be
employed as Guards, and one part time locker boy and:one'part
time locker girl be employed at the rate of $1.00 per hour.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said employment of all of said
employees shall begin on or about the 16th day of June, 1956,
and continue until on or about the day of , 1956,
or during such period of time as the swimming pool shall be open.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest the same and certify
to the passage and adoption thereof.
