A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
ING ITS INTENTIOP: TO IMPROVE A PORTION OF SIXTH STREET.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do•resolve as
SECTION 1.That the public interest and convenience require ,
is the intention of the Bogrd of Trustees of the City of Azusa ,
of California, to order the following street work to be done in said
City to -wit:
First. That a cement sidewalk , five (5) feet in width be cons
ed along each side of said Sixth Street from the east line of San
riel Avenue to the wes$ line of Cerritos Avenue (excepting along
portions of said Sixth Street upon wALich a cement sidewalk five(5)
in width has already been constructed to the official line and
said sidevialk to be constructed according to specifications for the
construction of cement sidewalk on file in the office of the City
of the City of Azusa, said specifications being numbered 7.
Second. That a cement curb be constructed along both sides of
Sixth Street from the east line of San Gabriel Avenue to the vvest
of Cerritos Avenue,(excepting along such portions of the line of
roadway upon which a cement curb has already been constructed to the
official line and grade) in accordance with the specifications for
construction of cement curbs on file in the office of the City C
of the City of Azusa, said specifications being numbered 8.
SECTION E. That the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa
finds upon estimates directed to be furnished, and furnished, by
City Engineen of said City of Azusa, that the total cost of said
posed work or improvement will be greater than fifty•(50) cents per
front foot along each line of said street so proposed to be improve
as hereinbefore set forth, including the costof intersection work
assessable upon said frontage; and said Board of Trustees determines
that serial bonds shall be issued to represent the cost of said wo
or improvement; said serial bonds shall be extendedover a period,
ending nine(9) years from and after the 2nd day of January next
ceeding the date of said bonds, and an emen annual proportion of
principal sum thereof shall be payable by coupon on the 2nd day of
January every year after their date until the whole is paid, and
interest shall be payable semi-annuallt by coupon on the second
of January and July respectively of each year, at the rate od seveo

principal and interest.are paid. Said bonds shall be issued in ac-
cordance' with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State
:LAKY
of California, entitled "An ACT to Provide a system of street improve-
ment bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost of street work
)llows and improvement within municipalities, and also for the payment of
id it such bonds", approved February 27th, 1893, and of all acts supplemen-
3tate tary thereto, or amendatory thereof.
xid Cj SEC'T'ION 3. The Pomotropic , a weekly newspaper of general circula-
tion, published and circulated in the City of Azusa, is hereby desig-
atruct nated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention, and
Bab- notice -of the passage thereof, shall be published in the manner and
such by the persons required by law.

adea., directed to post notices,of the passage of this resolution in the

shall post the same conspiciously for two days on or near the chamber
door of the Board of Trustees of said City .
