The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Meier, Moon, Case,
Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: Trustee
Chenoweth,
The minutes of the Special meeting held Sept. 1st,
1922 were read and approved as read.
On motion duly carried J. E. Daugherty was granted
one week vacation commencing; Sept. 11, 1922 and F.
'W. Zerrell two weeks commencing Sept. 12, 1922.
On motion duly carried the Board took a recess of
fifteen minutes.
On motion the matter of purchase of fire equipment
was referred to the City Attorney to arrange for
calling for bids.
The following Resolution was presented:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER
OF $1000.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND
AN 2 FROM THE WATER FUND TO THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDI G OND FUND,
The esou ion was read.
On motion the same was adopted as read.
Carried bye the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.
The following Ordinance was presented:
An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Azusa amending Ordinance No. 202 of said City
entitled "AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF HOLDING MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OF PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", adopted August
16, 1920, by amending Section I thereof relative to
the hour of holding meetings.
It was moved that the same be taken up for its second
reading:
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.
The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be declared read for
the second time and taken up for its third reading
and final passage.

Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes; None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.
The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.
It was moved that the President and Clerk be author-
ized to execute the agreement between the D. A. Foley
'Company and the City of Azusa relative to the use of
water.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.
It was moved that Mr. Barker be -authorized to appear
before the ra&lroad commiesion,.oA.:Sept. 12 at a hear-
ing relative to electric rates.
Curried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Chenoweth.

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 5th, 1922 7�P. M. 69.
The bid o.f J. L. Wileford for $13,700 was read J. L. WILSFORD'S BID
and on motion duly carried was referred to the REFERRED TO CITY ENG -
City Engineer for examination and report. INFER FOR REPORT.
It was moved that a rate of $2.50 per night
with Janitor service or $1.50 per night without RATE FOR RENT OF
Janitor service be made the Catholic Church for CITY HALL FOR REHER-
use of the City Hall for rehersals. SALS.
