The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Peirce, Moon,
Meier, Case, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent:
Chenoweth.
The minutes of the regular meeting hild Sept. 5th
and 7th and of the Special Meeting held Sept. 11th
were read and approved as read.
A communication from Fred Schwartz, District Mana-
ger of the Southern California Edison Company re-
lative to the matter -of light service inside of the
City Limits was read.
Trustee Moon offered the Following Resolution:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT OR UNDER-
STANDING EXISTING BETWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND THE
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY."
The Resolution was read.
On motion the same was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Chenoweth.
RESOLUTION NO.
696 ADOPTIM.
The.application of T. J. Sutton for a water tap T. J. SUTTON!'S
on Sixth Street was referred to the Public Works APPLICATION REFERR-
Committee in conjunction with the Water Superintendent ED TO P. W. COM.
with power to act.
The application of G. W. Knight for a permit to G. W. KNIGHT'S
construct a temporary corrigated iron building in the APPLICATION REFER -
fire district was referred to the Public Works Commit- RED TO P. W. COM.
tee to investigate and report at the next meeting.
It was moved that the City appropriate $40.00 per APPROPRIATING $40.00
month toward the expenses of Miss Grace V. Plum, TOWARD EXPENSES OF
Public Health Nurse. PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE.

Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Chenoweth.
On motion the Board took a recess of 15 minutes at
the end of which period the Board recommenced with RECESS.
the same Trustees present.
Trustee Peirce offered the following Resolution:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO RESOLUTION NO.
A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND F. S. & 697 ADOPTED.
W. W. HIRSCH COMPANY, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
FIRE TRUCK."
The Resolution was read.
On motion the same was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Chenoweth.
The following Resolution was presented:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF RESOLUTION NO.
1200.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND." 698 ADOPTED.

It was moved that the City Engineer be instructed OLD OVERFLOW

It was moved and carried that the City Clerk be C. C. INSTRUCTED
