HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 5391 2 3 4 ---6- 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 26 28_ 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO� A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE OFFICIAL COUNT AND CANVASS OF THE VOTE OF THE GENERAL 4UNICIPA,L ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, HELD ON APRIL 8, 1918, The Board of -Trustees of the City•of Azusa do resolve as follows: WHEREAS a general municipal election was held in the City of Azusa, State of California, on Monday the 8th day of April, 1918, and WHEREAS it appears from the canvass of the votes cast at the said general municipal election held in said city, that the candidates and the proposition submitted at said election received the following votes, to -wit: FOR MEMBERS OF -THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES: ( Full Term) William P. Barnes .:....:.... .................... 301 votes Hugh B. Bierbower . ....................I......... 267 votes Bra. Alma Nordstrom 132 votes I. D. Barnes, Hugh R. Bierbower and Charles I M. W. Houldin, having received the highest number of votes for City Clerk and Harry B. Raney, having received the highest number -of votes for City Treasurer, that they are hereby de- clared elected to said respective offices. That a majority of the qualified electors voting on said proposition above specified, having voted against the same, said proposition is hereby declared lost. The'City Clerk shall certify to.the•passage of this resolution and thereupon'and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. Adopted this 15th day of April, 1918.
