The Board of, Trustees of the City of Azusa do resolve

as follows

SECTION 1. That there shall be held in the City of

Azusa, on :'onlay the 8th day of April, 1918, a general municipal

election by the qualified electors of the said City of Azusa for

Vie purpose of electing; the following city officers, to -crit:

3 members of the 'Board of Trustees, long term.

1 member of the Board of Trustees, short term.

City Clerk, and
13
City Treasurer,.

and also for the purpose of sumitting to the qualified electors

of said City the question whether all the, members of said Board of

Trustees shall receive compensation for their services as such

members at the rate of ;10.00 per month&on and after May 1, 1918.

SECTION 2. That the number of election precints shall be

two, and that Consolidated Election Precinct T.To. 1 shall consist
20
of all, that portion of the City of Azuse. lying ..nd being northerly
21
of the center line of Centre Street, running from the westerly
22
boundary to the easterly boundary of said City of Azusa, and Vie

27 opened at 6 o'clock A.M. of the day of election, and must be kept
28 open until 7 o'clock P. 17. of the same day, when the polls shall
29 be closed; except and provided, however, that if at the hour of
3o closing there are any other voters in the polling place or in line
31 at the door who are qualified to vote and have not been able to do
32 so since 2ppearinp;, the polls shall be kept open a•sufficient time

27 opened at 6 o'clock A.M. of the day of election, and must be kept

to enable them to vote. But no one who shall arrive at the poll-
ing mace after 7 o'clock in the afternoon shall be entitled to
vote, although the polls may be open when he arrives.
SECTION 4. That notice of the time and place of holding
the said general municipal election is hereby given.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this resolution and shall cause the saa,!e to be published three
times before the date of such election in TIM POI072OPIC, a weekly
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the s
said City of Azusa, and the last of such publications shall be made
at least, one veek,be g` e,thpy dat ofy''holdin� such election. �R

NOTICE OF FLECTION.
Notice is hereby given that a general municipal election
is to be held in the City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, on the 8th day of April, 1918, as specified in the
foregoing 'resolution, and said resolution is hereby referred to
and made a part of this notice, for the purpose of giving notice
of such election as required by law.
