A RESOLUTION OF TIM BOARD OF TRUSTIES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE A PORTION OF TENTH STREET IN TIM, CITY OF AZUSA FRO%? THE EAST LINE OF VERNON AVEiI M TO THE, VBST CURB LINE OF AZUSA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND DE'TEMINING THAT SERIAL BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT THE COST THEREOF. The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do resolve as follmWs; Section 1. That the public interest and convenience re- quire and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, State of California, to order the following street wort: to be done in the City of Azusa, to -exit; Dirst. That a cement sidewalk five (5) feet in width be con- , , structed along the northerly and southerly sides of the roadway of Tenth Street from the east line of Vernon Avenue to the west curb line of Azusa Avenue (Except along such portions of said street upon which a cement sidewalk five (5) feet in width has already been constructed and now is to the official line and grade) in accordance with and where shown upon improvement plans, profiles and cross-sections NO. B 22 and in further accordance with specifications designated Specificatians 140.10 for the construction of cement sidewalks in the City of Azusa, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa. Second. That a cement curb be constructed along each side of the roadway of Tenth Street from the east line of Vernon Avenue to the west curb line of Azusa Avenue (except along such portions of sand street upon which a cement curb has already been con- structed and now is to the official line and grade) in accor- dance with and where shown upon the improvement plans, profiles and cross-sections N0. B 22 said in further accordance with specifications designated Specifications ITO. 12 for the construc- tion of cement curbs in the City of Azusa on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of Azusa. Section 2. That the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa dete:_aines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assess - meats of Twenty-five dollars (025,00) or over for the cost of said work of improve:aent; said serial bonds shall e.ctend over a period ending nine (9) years from cimd after the second day of 112 0 0 January next succeeding the date of said bonds, and an even annual proportion of the principal sun thereof shall be payable by coupon, on the second day of January every yea2 after their date until the thole is paid; and the interest shall be payable semi-annually by coupon, on the second days of January and July, respectively of each year, at the rate of seven (7f) per cent -.per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said principal and interest are paid. Said bonds shall be issued in accordance with the pro- visions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Calif- ornia, entitled "Ail ACT TO PROVIDE FOP. Section 3. All improvement plans, profiles and cross- sections hereinbefore mentioned are hereby made a part of this Resolution and are referred to for a more partioular description of said saorlc and made a part thereof. All specifications referred to in this Resolution are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa. All improvement ;dans, profiles and cross-sections re- ferred to in this Resolution are on file in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Azusa. All streets zeferred to in this Resolution are -oublic streets in the City of Aztsa. Section 4. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Azusa shall imediately post or cause to be posted conspiuuously along the lines of said work and improve:aent, notices of the passage of tris Resolution in the a-anner and form required by lana. The City Clerk of the City of Azusa shall certify tovthe--,adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the sane to be published by two insertions in "TIE POMOTROPIC" a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa and hereby designated by the Board of Trustees of said City of Azusa for that purpose.
