MONDAY DEC. 4TH, 1922 7:30 P.199
The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case,
Chenoweth, Peirce. City Attorney, City Clerk.
Absent: None.
The minutes of the regular meeting held Nov. 20th
were read and approved as read.
On motion duly carried the application of the
Southern Counties Gas Company for a permit to
excavate across Dalton Avenue for gas service to
'the Burns Motor Company was granted with the under-
standing that the finishing of the surface of such
excavation to be done by the City of Azusa at the
expense of the Gas Company.

It was regularly moved and carried that the RAMON MONLEON'S

The application of heir. Tyler for permission to
remove a tree from the parkway in front of 403 N.
Alameda Ave. was granted upon condition that the
written consent of the owner of the property be
first filed with the City Clerk.
The following Ordinance was presented:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OI' THE
CITY OF AZUSA AJ1FENDING SECTION 15 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 164 OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ENTITLED: 'AN ORD-
INANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA; ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF BUILDING IN-
SPECTOR, FIXING HIS COMPENSATION, DEFINING HIS
'DUTIES, ESTABLISHING FIRE LI?ITS IN SAID CITY, and
PROVIDING REGULATIONS FOR THE, CONSTRUCTION,ALTER-
ATION, AND REPAIR OF BUILDINGS IN SAID CITY, PRE-
SCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF SAID
ORDINANCE, AIM REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT THEREWITH.' Adopted Sept. 21, 1914.
It was moved that the same be taken up for its
first reading:

The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be declared read
for the first time and laid over to next meeting.
