The Board of 'Trustees of the City of Azusa do
resolve as folloi^s:

noi- reinafte-r indicated and it is the desire of the
Board of TSustees of the 'City of i'.Zusa to elilist the
aid of the 1'oard of ,upervisors of tfe County of Los
_n -les, ;;tate of Califoriiia, in the improvement of
said avenues;

ornia, be and they are hereby reque:>ted and petitioned
to assist, by contributin from the appropriate fund or
funds available therefor, in the improvement of said
Cerritos and Iroindale Avenues, within the limits
hereinafter indicated, by the paving thereof iii the ;nai7-
ner also hereinafter set forth;

acter and cost of the improvement conte;iplated and nedd-
ed for said Cerritos Avenue is as follovis:
The improvement of Cerritos avenue from
the south lime of 'ifth Street to the north
line of Droad7iay by the construction of a
two (2) inch oiled m,cadam pavement, Pi=;iiteen
(18) feet in i,,idth and to be composed of a
one and one-half (11-) inch course of i'.o . 1 rock,
(Rock Crusher utandards)'and 3/4 gallon of 90°
asphaltic oil per square yard and a one-half (')
inch course of -io. 3 rota rock and 1/4 gallon of 90
oil per square ;card and a 1/4 inch l,,.yer of i?o. 4
rock. The Len..>th of the street is five thousand
six hundred and forty (5640) feet and contains
one hundred and one thousand, five '_Hundred and
twenty (101,520) square feet of pavin,; to cost
,x.06 per square foot, includin:_z gradin,'-.,

ed for said Irwindale Avenue is as follo'rrs:
The improvement of Irwindale Avenue from the
north line of Pirst Street to the north line of Dalton
Road by the construction of three-fourths (3/4) inch
pavement from curb line to curb line, a width of sixty-
ei�ht (68) feet, except a strip aloe; the center line
twenty (20) feet in width which is to be paved ;vith
five (5) 'inch oiled macadam as shown on Plan 1o. 1041 and
Specific<:tions Ito. 1040-C. The len^;th of the pavement is
two thousand, six hundred and nineteen (2,619) feet and
contains one hundred twent„pfive thous.nd, seven hundred
and twelve (125,712) squ,.re feet of three-fourths (3/4)
inch pavement, to cost <.e N.03 per square foot ;;3771.36 and
fifty-two thousand, three hundred and ei hty (52,380) square
feet of five (5) inch pavement to cost 4.15 per square foot
