RESOLUTION NO. 895.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA APPOINTING THOMAS A BERKEBILE CITY ATTORNEY
OF SAID CITY AND FIXING HIS CONIPENSATI0IT.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, the resignation of Henry P. Goodwin, City
Attorney of the City of Azusa, has been heretofore
accepted to take effect June let, 1926, and a vacancy
in said office now exists;
NUff, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Thomas A.
Berkebile be and he is hereby appointed City Attorney
of the City of Azusa t a salary of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) per month, for which salary the said City
Attorney shall attend all meetins of the Board of
Trustees of the said city,"shall act as legal advisor
of said Board, shall prepare all ordinances and reso-
lutions necessary to be prepared in the transaction of
the routine business of said city, and shall advise other
officials of said city in the manner required by law;
provided, however, that for all other services rendered
the said city by the said Attorney, he shall be paid, in
addition to the foregoing salary, such compensation as
shall be commensurate with the services rendered.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Azusa at a regular meeting held June 7th, 1926, by the
following vote of the Board:
Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Beck. Loney, Chenoweth, Howard.
Noes: Trustees: None.
Absent: Trustees: None.
