A RESOLUTION OF TI, BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE OFFICIAL COUNT AND CANVASS OF THE VOTES OF THE GENERAL 1,IUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN TIS; SAID CITY ON APRIL 12, 1926. WHEE,AS, a General Idunicipal Election was held and con- ducted in the City of Azusa, .County of Los Angeles, State of California, on Monday, the 12th da,y of April, 1926, as required by law; and 4JHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally given and that there was one voting precinct established for holding said election, consisting of consolida- tions of regular City Precinct for holding State and County elections, as the same were established by the Board of Super- visors of Los Angeles County on the 29th day of December, 1925, and now being on record in Book 87-A of the Minutes of the said Board of Supervisors; that election officers were appointed and election suppd;ies furnished, and that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed and the returns thereof made and de- clared, in time Form and manner as required by the General Laws of the State of California governing elections in cities of the fifth and sil.th classes; and 7lIEREAS, the Board of Trustees of said City of Azusa met at the Council Chamber of said Board on Idonday, the 19th day of April, 1926, to canvass the returns of said election and install the newly elected officers, whereupon the said Board found that the number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, the result of said election and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated, NOW TIE, REEF OHE-------- IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND DECLARED AS fo l lows: That said regular Municipal Election was held and con- ducted in the City of Azusa, California, on Monday the 12th day of April, 1926, in ti=me, form and manner as required by law; That there was one voting precinct established for the purpose of helding said election, consisting of a consolida- tion of the regular election precincts established for holding general State and County elections as follows: Consolidated Voting Precinct A. comprising State and County Precincts Nos. 1, 21 3, 4, and 5. Howard was elected to the office of Iiember of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, California, for the full term of four (4) years; Also that Chas Vi. Beck was elected to the office of Member of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, California, for the term of four (4) years; Also that T.S. T. Durrell was elected to the office of member of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, California, for the term of four (4) years; Also that A. M. Loney was elected to the office of Member of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, California, for the term of two (2) years: Also that H. Robert Smith was elected to the office of City Clerk of said City of Azusa, California for the term of two (2) years. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall immediately make and deliver to each of such persons so elected a Certificate of Election signed by him and duly authenticated; that he shall also impose the constitutional oath of office upon said persons so elected as i;Iembers of the Board of Trustees of said City, and City Clerk and shall have them subscribe thereto and file the same in his office; «heretip on'each and all of said persons so elected to said respective offices shall be inducted into said respective office to which they have been elected. 0 0 1363 The motion to adopt the foregoing Resolution was carried unanimously by the vote shown in the following certificate of the City Clerk, to -twit: ATTES T: H.
