The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Case, =eirce,
Chenoweth, City attorney and City Clerk. i,bsent:
Meier.
The minutes of the regular meeting held December
18th, 1922 were read and approved as read.
The Superintendent of Light & Water was author-
ized to purchase the following supplies:
1 in. and 3/4 in. pipe fittings not to exceed
w25.00
20 Concrete &Seter Boxes
New Drain Pipe for City Hall
10 5 Amp. Licht i,ieters
24 2300 Volt Dead -ends
1 keg 2300 Volt Insulatore
12 35 Ft. Poles
1 5 K.V.A. Transformers -- oil

The Superintendent of Light & Water was authorized
to purchase one car of Light poles to be ordered SUPT. LIGHT & WATER

Sanitary & Police Committee reported that the mat- S. & P. C. REPORT RF, -
ter of the petition relative to Geo. W. Fuhr's LATIVE TO G. W. FUHR'S
fertilizer house had been settled temporarily ?ERTILIZ_.R HOUSE.
Mr. Case reports a settlement with the Owl Fumi-
gating Corporation in the matter of a rebate for 17JR. CASE REPORTS
power for the sum of •-*300.00. SETTLEiJENT WITH OWL
On motion the City Clerk was authorized to draw FUMIGATING CORP.
a check covering this amount.

It was moved that Mr. Case be authorized to pur-
chase lumber in an amount not to exceed •30.00 to MR.

The following Resolution was presented:
A RESOLUTION OF _HE BOARD OF TRUSTEE'S OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, RATIFYING, ADOPTING Air AP-
PROVING THE ACTION OF THE BOARD IN ENTERING INTO A
RESOLUTION NO. 712
LEASE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND THE
ADOPTED.
SEAGRAVE COMPANY FOR THE RENTAL OF A FIRE ENGII4E
TRUCK.
The Resolution was read.
On motion the same was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Case,
Noon, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Meier.
It was moved that the City Clerk and President of
the Board be authorized to enter into a lease with

Attorney covering the premises located opposite the

Santa Fe Depot for a term of one (1) year at a rental

of not to exceed :25.00 per month.

It was moved that the Light & Water Supt. be author-
ized to bill Mr. Calvert for power at the rate of SUPT. L & W. TO BILL
:5.00 per month for the past two years together with I�LR. CALVERT FOR POWER.

The following Resolution was presented:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, CALIYORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPT-
ING A MAP OF TRACT 5970 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA."
The Resolution was read.
On motion the same was adopted as read.

Moon, Case, Peirce, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent:
Meier.
The following Resolution was presented:
"A. RESOLUTION OF TH_9 BOARD OF TRUSTEE) 01-P THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING STEVE SAUJDERS AS
'SPECIAL POLICE 05'FICER OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AND
FIXING HIS SALARY OR COi,IPENSATION."

be authorized to execute the Transformer agreement,
betweet t#e City of Azusa and the Westinghouse Elect-
ric & Manufacturing Company.

It was moved that the following bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for
the same.
