L11 3 1 The Board of 'Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: T.'eicr, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk, City - ttorney. _absent: idei.er. The minutes of the regular meeting held January 2nd, 1923 were read ,end approved as read. A communication from 'Irs. _;leanor Jarren relative .to the matter of the construction of an outdoor toilet and on motion the ity Clerk was instructed to write Mrs rarren and inform her that it would be necessary for her to secure a plumbing permit from ir. Pierce, Plumbing Inspector and a permit from the Health Officer. CITY CLERK. INSTRUCT- ED TO 'WRITE TO NIRS. ELEANOR WARREN. On motion duly carried 7drs. S. J. Clover and I.Irs. I2S. S. J. GLOVER & MRS. Floyd Haskill were authorized to remove trees from FLOYD HASKILL AUTHORIZED the parkway in front of their respective properties. TO REMOVE TREES. Trustee Moon now present. Mr. Peirce, Superintendent of Light & Water was author- ized to purchase the following supplies: 3 coils of No. 8 W. P. Wire. SUPT. L. & IN. TO 2 5 1. V. A. Transformers. PURCHASE SUPPLIES. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Lieier, Case, Chenoweth, Perice. Noes: None. Absent: None. Chairman Case announced the areappointment of I:irs. K. S. VOSBURG & MINNIE K. S. Vosburg and Yinnie E. Case to the Library E. CASE RE -APPOINTED TO Board. LIBRARY BOARD. On motion duly carried the appointments were ratifi- ed and approved. It was moved that the City Clerk be authorized to CITY CLERK TO DRAW WAR - draw a warrant for X25.00 for the Azusa Boy Scouts RANT FOR AZUSA BOY'SCOUTS. through Mr. Keith Vosburg. On motion the Board adjourned to meet as a Com- mittee of the ,`Thole. The Board reconvened with all Trustees present. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTIOI4 OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPOIETING JAMES E. BARKER CONSULTING ENGINEER OF TliH 'I, CTRIC LIGHTING D E- PARTbIENT OF SAID CITY AND FIXIIJG HIS SALARY OR COMPENSATION. The Resolution was read. On motion the sante was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Case, Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Pettee. Noes: None. Absent: None. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTIOI'd OF THE BOAC D OF T;,USTHFS OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORIIIA APPOIFITING HENRY P. GOOD'WIN CITY ATTORNEY OI'' SAID CITY AND FIXING HIS SALA'r'Y OR COMPENSATION. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Case, Loon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. RESOLUTION NO. 713 ADOPTED. RESOLUTION NO. 714 ADOPTED. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the BILLS. dame.
