The Hoard of Trustqes of tine City of Azusa, do resolve as S7?CTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention nf the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa to order the following work to be done in accordance with the provisions of an act of the Le,oislaturry of the State of California en- titled, "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR WORT{ IN AND UPON STREETS, AVF,_dU:ES, PLACE AND SIDEWAIJKS WITHIN MUNIICIPALITIES"'approved April 7, 1911 and known as the "IMPROVF^111tT ACT OF 1911".. and all acts supplementary thereto or amendatory thereof, to -reit: FIRST: 'That a cement curb be constricted aloi,g eao;i line of the roadway of said Ninth Street from a line draim parallel to and sixteen (10) feet :vest of a line drawn across said Ninth Street from the Northwest corner of Lot 26, of Block 22, to the Southwest corner of Lot 24, Block 11 as per map recorded in Book 15, Page 93, ILiscell- aneous Records of Los Angeles County, to a line dram across said Ninth Street from the Southeast corner of Lot 37 of the Orange Grove Tract as recorded in ldsp Kook 12, Page 55 to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block 17 as per map recorded in Book 15, Page 93, Miscellaneous Re- cords of Loa Angeles County, excepting that portion of the South side of Ninth Street from the Northwest corner of Lot 13 of Block 13 to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block 17 as per map recorded in Book 15, Page 93, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, excepting that portion of the South side of Ninth Street £ron the uorthlvAat cor- ner of Lot 13 of Block 1:9 to the Nort,aeast corner of Lot i of yiock 17, as recorded in Book 15, Page 93, ?2io-.-il1aneoue Records of Los Angeles County, California, except along such portions of said Ninth Street upon which a cemert c-arb has already been constructed and now is to the official line and grade in accordance with and where unawn upon the i:73rovement plans, ,profiles and cross; -sections No. .1030 and in further accordsnee with Special Specifications No. 1030-B for the con- struction of cement curbs in the City of Azusa. SECOND: That a cement sidewalk five (5) feet in width, be constructed along each line of the roadway of said Ninth Street, from a 2�6 line drawn across said Ninth Street from the Northwest corner 26 of Block 22, to to'Southwest corner of "Lot 200f iilock 11, or' Lot as per •� � map recorded in Boo's 15, Page 93, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles � County to a line drawn parallel to and sixteen (16) feet. East of a line drawn across said Ninth Street from the Southeast corner of Lot 37 of .the Orange Grove Tract as recorded in Map Book 12, Page 55, to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block 17, as per map recorded in Book 15, Page 93, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, except- ing that portion of the So.ith side of Ninth .Street .from the Northwest corner of Lot 13 of Block 18 to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block 17 as recorded in Book 15, Page 93, Miecelianeous Records of Los Angeles County, c-il.ifornis, exeent along such portions of naid Ninth StreAt upon whi-�h a cement sidswalk five (:i) feat wide has alraad;y ueui; con- structed and nnw i,s to the official line and grade, in accordance with and whirs shown upon improvement plans,, profiles and cross-sections No. 1030 and in further accordance with special speci.ficationa designs - ted Specifications No. 1030-A; for the construction of cement side- walks in the City of Azusa. SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to repre- sent unpaid assessments and .bear interest at the rate of Seven (7%) percent per .annum will be issued her under in the manner provided by the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years from the second day of July next succeeding ten months from their date. Said bonds shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State of..California, entitled, "An act to provide for the issuance of improvement bon As to rorres?nt and be secured by certain assessments made for the cost of cerwiin wurx and improvements made in and upon streets, avenues, 1 ries, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks within municipalities, and upon property and righte of way owned by municipatitiee,to provide for the collection of such ass- essments, the s ile of the property affected thereby and for the pay- ment of the bonds so issued." Approved June 11, 1915 and kno-mi as the Improvement Bond Act of 1915" and all acts supplementary thereto or amendatory t_lereof. SECTION 3. .All imorovsment plans, profiles and cross-sections hereinbefore mentioned .are hereby made a part of this resolution and referred to for a more particular description of said work and made a part thereof. All scecificstions referred in this resolution are on file in the office.of the City* ark of the City -of Azusa,. 287 All improvement plansprofiles and cross-sections referred to in this resolution are on file in the office of the City Engineer of the - City of Azusa. A11 streets referred to in this resolution are ucreets in the City of Azusa. SECTIOIT 4. The Superintendent of 3treets of the City of Azusa shall post notices of said work as required by law, and shall cause the some to be published once in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City of Azusa and'nereby designated for that purpose. SECTION 5. All objections or protests on the part of the pro - party owners to the above improvements should be made in writing; to the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa and placed on file with the City Clerk on or before the hour of the day set for tine hearing of said pro- tests or objections by the said Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, which'hearing shall be the let day of June, 1925, at 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Azusa at the northeast corner of Center and Ala+*eda Streets. 116 other protests shall be considered. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published by two inser- tions in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper printed, published and cir- culated in the City of Azusa and hereby designated by the Board of Trustees of said City of Azusa, for that purpose, and shall post the same con- spicously for tivo days on or near the chamber door of the place of meet- ing of the Boa -d of Trustees of said City and thereupon and t:nereafter the same shall take effect and be in force. The foregoing resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa held on the 4th day of key, 1925, by the affirmative vote of at least three trustees of sail City, to -wit: Ayes; Trustees: Peirce, Moon, Maier, Mhenoweth.
