WILLIA14S, FIRST-TJAYOR OF THE CITY OF AZUSA. The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa ao resolve as follows: WHEREAS, That in the death of our beloved and honored citizen, Mr. H. A. Williams, Azusa has lots one of its most prominent and res- pected citizens, and ffHEREAS,'HIr. H. A. Williams was Azusa's first Mayor after its incorporation as a city: BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Trustees Peel that it is befitting that the merchants of Azusa, out of respect for the memory of D:Ir. H. A. Williams, be requested to close their respective places of business at 12:30 P. M., on the day of the funeral, Monday, January 12th, 1925, and remain closed until 4:00 P. 11. of said day. RESOLVED, The public offices of the City of Azusa be closed all day on January 12th, 1925, and the City flag at the City Park be placed at half mast for a period of one week: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be enter- ed on the minutes of the -meeting and a copy printed in the Azusa Pomo- tropic.
