HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 795236 RESOLUTION NO. 795 n RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DELIAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION BY SAID CITY OF AZUSA, OF THE FOLLOWING MUNICIPAL ILIPROVE- MENTS, TO -WIT: THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF WATERWORKS IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, THE COST OF WHICH WILL BE TOO GREAT TO BE PAID OUT OF THE ORDINARY ANNUAL INCOME AICD REVENUE OF SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED AND City of Azusa as follows: by the Board of Trustees of the SECTION 1. That the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion b°� the following I;tunicipal improvements, to -wit: The acquisition, construction and completion of waterworks in the City of Azusa. And that said Municipal improvements are necessary and conven- ient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said City. SECTION 2. That the estimated cost of said Municipal improvements is as follows, to -wit: For the acquisition, construction and completion' of waterworks in the City of Azusa, the sum of Seventy-five Thousand ($75,000.00) Dollars. And that the cost of said Municipal Improvements is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary, annual income and revenue of said City. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution by a vote of two-thirds of all the members of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa and its approval by the President of said Board, and shall thereupon cause the same to be published once in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper of general cir- culation published and circulated in said City of Azusa.
