The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Case, Chenoweth,
Pierce, Moon, City Attorney, City Clerk. Absent:
Trustee: Meier.
The Minutes of the meeting held February 5th, 1923
were read and approved as read.
An ap licazt �n from the Southern Counties Gas Com-
panyy�to�xcavate across Pasadena Avenue at a point
about 100 ft. south of Eleventh St. for the pur-
pose of laying gas service pipe for Mr. Geo. Ott
was read and on motion duly carried the same was
granted.
Mr. Pierce, Superintendent of Light & Water was
authorized to purchase the following supplies:
2 Bundles of 1" pipe
2 tvit 3/4" pipe
Pipe fittings not to exceed $20.00
20 Concrete Meter Boxes.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees:
Mo6n, Case, Pierce, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent:
Trustee: Meier.
The following Ordinance was presented:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF LEMON
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA."
It was moved that the same be taken up for its
second readinngg.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Case, Chenoweth, Pierce. Noes: None Absent: Trustee:
Meier.
The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be declared read for
the second time and taken up for its third reading
and final passage.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Case, Chenoweth, Pierce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Meier.
The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
VW*N , Case, Peirce, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent:
Trustee: Meier.
It was moved that the following bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for
the same.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee:
Meier.
