1924, the proposition of incurring a bonded debt in the suns of Fifty
Thouszuid (450,000.00) Dollars for the acquisition, colnstruction and com-
pletion of street work aeon the public streets of the City of
specifically, Portions of First :street, Fourth itreet, r`ifth Street,
Centre Street, "zusa :;venue Cerritos=ivellue and 21n1,eleno .ivenue, as
well as all of :iecond :street, Third „trect, E'ighth Street, Ilinth Street,
Eleventh :street and, Crescent Drive, received 401 votes in favor of such
proposition and 27 votes against the same, and,
i411211iEAS, the number of votes in favor of incurring such in-
debtedness for suchpropositi.on was more than two-thirds of all the
votes of all the voters voting at such special election:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT '_MOLVED, that the proposition of the
City of <izusa incurring a bonded debt of Fifty Thousand ($.50,000.00)
dollars for the acquisition, construction and eoarglletion of street work
upon the public streets of the City of.=izusa, specifically, Portions
of :first Strect, -Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Centre Strcet, Azusa :.ve-
nue, cerritos :.venue and _-ngeleno :vernue, as well ..s all of second
Street, Third street, -'ighth Street 1:inth street. Elerenth 6treet and
Crescent Drive was dally cz:.rried and adopted by the votes:. of more -than
tyro -thirds of all the voters voting at such special election and that
such proposition was carried and was duly accepted by the qualified
voters of this mlulicipality and that the City of .zusa is dill;; author-
ized to issue bonds in the slum of fifty Thousfind (w50,000.00) Dollars
for said purpose.
The City Clerk shall certify to the pas:;ag'e of this i?enolntion
and its approval by the President of the Board of Trustees and there-
alpon and thereafter the sar:le shall be in full force and effect.
