follows:
The Board of Trustees of the City of szusa do resolve as
SECTIO11 1. That the office of City attorney of the City of
_:zusa be, and the sarze is hereby declared vacant.
6ECTIOTd 2. That Henry P. Goodwin be and tie is hereby appoint-
ed to the office of City dttorney of said City of-_zusa to hold office
during- the pleasure of said -"card and his sc.lary or compensation is
hereby fixed at the sum of One hundred (vi'1100.00) Dollars per month
commencing on the 1-,t day of January, 1923, and he shall receive such
additional compensation for any litigation to which the City or nny
of its officials, as such officials, may be parties and for any pro-
ceedinms before the Railroad Commission of the sate of California
and for legal services in connection with any bond. issue or other
special election as such services may be reasonable worth and which
may be aFTreed upon between himself and said Board of Trustees.
;'EC'PTOH 3. The City Clerk, shall certify to the passage of this
esolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
