J6.3 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: None. The minutes of the meeting held April 2nd, 1923 were read and approved as read. On motion duly carried the Company was granted a per gas line on the east side a point about 40 ft. south Eighth Street, thence nort stood that the relaying of portion thereof as crosses done by the City of Azusa Gas Company. The following Ordinance was presented: An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, amending Section 12 of Ordinance No. 191 of said City entitled: "All ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZU::A LICENSING AND REGULAT- ING CERTAIN KINDS OF BUSI14ESS CARRIED ON IN SAID CITY" etc., adopted May 27, 1918, and repealing Ordinance No. 205 and all other Ordinances of said City in con- flict therewith. It was moved that the Ordinance be declared read for the first time and laid over to next meeting. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. MOVED THAT THE CITY PAY THE SUM OF $675.00 TO COLLINS AND ORR COMPANY. ORDINANCE READ. The following Resolution was presented: " A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING A MAP OF TRACT 6604 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA." RESOLUTION NO. 723 The resolution was read. ADOPTED. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. The following Resolution was presented: " A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY tOTREF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PLANS ND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE GRADING AND PAVING OF NINTH ET IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. .Moved that the City Engineer be authorized to pur- chase the fallowing supplies: One patrtable oil heater for road work. Carried by the following vote.
